A good buy This cutlery basket is doing its job perfectly well. It fits the space and fits the dimensions given in the listing. Some reviewers have given this a bad review saying that it doesn’t fit – surely you’d measure the space before you ordered and check against the measurements given? (I did anyway!).It seems sturdy enough, certainly no less sturdy than the one which came with my dishwasher. Some people have complained about the handle coming off – we have had no such problems…
This one is built well but doesn’t fit easily into the machine as it doesn’t have the two … Bought for my Hotpoint dishwasher as the original one cracked. This one is built well but doesn’t fit easily into the machine as it doesn’t have the two vertical slots of the original. I can’t mark the product down for that as it’s not the fault of the basket but it doesn’t work for me.I paid £11 on Amazon for an original replacement from Hotpoint themselves
tip top Yup, it was cheap and it probably won’t last a lifetime. But it’s doing exactly what the description says and will do so for a few years.Some reviews are saying that they are getting holes in the bottom, so I am careful not to drop knives into it. Mine has not warped, melted or broken and I have been using it for 6 months.To be fair, 5 quid & free delivery is a no-brainer. If your DW cutlery basket is past its sell-by date, get one of these.
