over priced, nice colour ok kettle, however i think over priced for what it is. i had borrowed a £5 kettle from a friend while i waited for this oke to come and it is basically exactly the same. However, the cheap one is actually better made as when i close the lid on the swan kettle there seems to be a gap at the spout where it hasnt been made to fit properly. if i pour the water too quicky or not at a specific angle, the water comes out of the spout and out of the gap sending it everywhere. For the price this is a great kettle low noise but it’s not quick to boil For the price this is a great kettle low noise but it’s not quick to boil. However don;t let that put you off. I have had many kettles over the past 4 years and they have all leaked soon after buying them. Not this one so this more than makes up for the slow boil. Good but has faults Replaced a similar kettle but not as good. One side sight measure makes filling a chore and the lid can appear to be closed but has to be firmly shut or it will popup when emptying the kettle resulting in water spillage and possible scalding! The connection block on the base can catch in the kettle when it is removed for filling and is a nuisance. All that said it boils quickly and not too noisily and is very inexpensive.
