Lid holds on securely but easy to remove Bought to put laundry detergent, etc in to store in utility room. Holds detergent, softener,(although would not fit very tall bottles) and plenty of room for dosage balls, stain remover liquids etc also. Fabulous and superb quality I bought this for bird seed and it’s such good quality that I’ll definitely got more when I can think what to use them for.I have recommended to a friend who bought the 8.5 for washing powder and he loves the box.Very pleased!
