Eggs on toast for lunch at work It works for me…I’ve found that my eggs turn out best if I put about half a centimeter of boiling water in the bottom, crack two large eggs into it, then leave it standing closed (with the vent closed) whilst my bread is toasting. Then whilst I butter my toast I pop it in the microwave (with the vent open) for 30 seconds. The eggs have a cooked white and runny yolk, which is perfect for me.

Lovely Mini Omelettes I’ve used this twice now, so can’t comment on durability, but both of my mini omelettes turned out deliciously. I used two eggs and then added a few bits of tomato, some ham, pepper and onion. A quick initial mix around with a fork and then 50 seconds on my 900w microwave, followed by a stir and then a second 50 seconds. The result was a lovely fluffy omelette that just slid out of the container with no fuss. Not tried poached yet, but I’ll update when I do.

EllieF says:

Works Good, I’ve managed both poached eggs and omelette with no trouble. It’s a good way of cutting down on your energy bill and you can have a poached egg within two minutes. Trial and error has taught me I can poach two eggs at once it I cook on 50% power for about two minutes (will vary according to microwave power).
