Buying cheap definitely doesn’t pay. I’ve only just had this thing. To say that I’m not impressed would be an understatement. It works ok but all I did was wash it after use. To me that would be the normal thing to do. So, having washed it and shook it to remove excess water. I then left it to dry. Tonight I started to put all the washing up away and came across this pickle stabbed which, was rusty? I took it apart to clean it up a bit and discovered that the spring, which is about 2″ long, was covered in rust. Taking all this…

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Having read other reviews saying about the product rusting, I washed it after the first use and dried it thoroughly. I then noticed rust coming out of the sliding part of the mechanism so I pushed it down and tried to clean the rust off. The flat plate broke off rendering the gadget useless, having only been used once. In summary, poor quality, unhygienic and a waste of money.

Grossly unhappy with product Great idea, as at my sister’s home she had one for ‘spearing’ pickled onions, which was fun. So I ordered one and was grossly unhappy when it arrived. It was in a plastic bag, in pieces and I then wondered who had picked it in the warehouse, as was obviously broken!The plate used to ‘push-off’ anything speared was detached from the ‘push’ rod and looked as if it had not be made correctly , as the product picture showed what appears to be a flat button-end to the rod, so holding the plate…
