Not as good as metal one I bought this product because most of my saucepans are nonstick and my metal masher would scratch them, so can’t always use it.This product is not well designed, it is too thick at the bottom which wastes quite a bit of food as it gets stuck between mashing groves. Because of this it is not that easy to clean, you need a teaspoon (or something similar) to clean between groves. Not ideal at all.It looks good, hence 2 stars instead of 1

Mr. Alex Denney says:

Mediocre masher Just about passable but requires so much work to get lump free mash when compared to a metal one. The reason I bought this was due to wanting to mash stuff in the saucepan straight after cooking without scratching the pan, and because it just about works it gets the two stars. I think the problem is that the holes are too small and the mesh is too thick. Look for something else,

Lastboyscout says:

It broke! Well, it mashes potatoes well and looks good (if that maters) However, I dropped it on the floor once and it broke – see picture. I’d expect it to stand up to being dropped on kitchen floor. It’s more hassle than it’s worth to send back. Won’t be buying another one!
