A little dissapointed.. I like the overall idea of these plates for use in a caravan or camping enviroment. They are slightly lighter than a cheap set of thick plates that would survive ok in a camping scenario, and definitely a much better than a set of even the latest melamine plates, which are still plastic after all. Corelle plates are I believe a great compromise of strength, weight and delicacy and closer to bone china than Melamine. I am giving this a poor review as I’m not sure what the mugs are … I am giving this a poor review as I’m not sure what the mugs are made of but we have only have had ours a few months and one of the mugs has a hair line crack all around the bottom. The plates are great though. Delivery speed was excellent. Looking at the guarantee it seems the mugs are not covered, so i guess they are made of an inferior material. We expected the whole set to be the same when we purchased it so this is a massive disappointment,
SUPERB QUALITY TABLEWARE Quality tableware with a lovely but simple design. I’ve bought mine for using in my motorhome and it’s ideal. Like the choice of sqare plates for a change. The only problem is that there are so many lovely designs to choose from. I would highly recommend Corelle to anyone.
