Great for little mimics My son was so happy when he received these for his 2nd birthday – he is a little mimic and loves copying me cooking, cleaning, washing etc so he was happy that they look a lot like Mummy’s kettle and toaster. They look realistic (but obviously small). For the price it would be nice if the kettle had realistic sounds. Realistic looking Bought this to go with my son’s toy kitchen. It looks good. It’s lightweight. The kettle has a removable lid so you can fill with pretend water but other than that doesn’t do anything. Can be used as a pretend kettle for stove or an electric one. Very disappointed. Bought this as a present for my 2 year old. It does look pretty realistic, but is really not designed to be good for children to play with. The kettle does not do anything at all. The toaster (in theory) pops up, however the achieve this you need to wind up quite a fiddly small lever and push it down which even our 5 year old hasn’t mastered.
