Brilliant coffee machine What a brilliant coffee machine. It took a bit of getting use to, after using a digital coffee machine for years. But since the EU ruling about warmer times as been reduced from 2hours to 30mins, it was crazy. So, this pot works like a thermos flask, and as long as you put boiling water into the jug well in advance, when you filter the coffee through it WILL stay HOT for a fewhours. Happy coffee drinker! Just brewed my first pot of coffee in this machine. What can I say, I’m well impressed! The thermo jug works a treat and the coffee tastes fantastic. I used the “aroma control” and what a taste! With the ridiculous EU ruling that drip fed coffee machines must switch off after 40 minutes, I gave up with using one. Not anymore, we’re back in business!! The coffee stays at a “drinkable” temp for about hour and half. That was just with a quick pre-warm of the pot with hot water. If…
Don’t bother. Used no more than 5 times and it has stopped working. When it did work it was good (hard to go wrong when all it does is drip hot water through coffee grounds). I went to use it Monday morning and it goes through all the motions but the end result is no coffee, the water never left the reservoir.I’d recommend getting a cheap one from the local supermarket, my last one lasted years until the glass carafe broke.
